Here are some tips for traveling to Los Angeles from out of town!
The nearest airports are Burbank Airport (BUR) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
From BUR: There is public transit in the form of the Metrolink train (metro/subway) from the airport to Union station (near downtown). Lyft/Uber would also be a great option!
From LAX: The flyaway bus is a great and affordable option, but has to be booked in advance. Lyft and Uber are also good options, but they do require either walking to the actual pickup lot or taking an airport shuttle there.
Train travel is also a great option, especially for those traveling from San Diego. The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner is beautiful and convenient. Every Amtrak and Metrolink train passes through Union Station, providing connections to the LA Metro bus and rail network.
We encourage everybody to ride share or take public transit to ensure the most stress-free and safe experience.
If you do choose to drive, we will have valet parking provided for the welcome drinks on Friday night and for the wedding itself on Saturday night. We just ask that you specify that you will be bringing a car for the RSVP, so that we know how many cars to anticipate.
The closest public transit stop to the wedding would be the Little Tokyo/Arts District stop. This is along the B metro line, and the A or E light rail line.
The wedding venue is a bit nondescript from the outside. Be on the lookout for a large, circular, red sign that says 800 on it. This is where the entrance is located!
We do not have a hotel block booked in any particular hotel but we do have some hotels in downtown LA that we've vetted and would recommend! We are staying at The Conrad but of course people can stay wherever.
